Name: Charlotte Emery

Role: Assistant Producer

How long have you been involved with Gang Show: I have been a cast member since 1998, although I took a 10 year break from performing and made my comeback in 2010! During my break I helped back stage in various different departments and was delighted to be asked to join the Production team for the 2010 show.

How are you involved in Scouting/Guiding: Having been in the Guide movement since the age of 8 I made the transition to the Scouting movement and I am now one of the scout leaders for the Hampshire Creative Explorers, a fairly new group that has been running since 2009.

What are your aims for the show: My aim for Gang Show is for every single cast member to gain as much from their Gang Show experience as I have done from mine over the years.

What's the best thing about being involved: This is a tough one, I'll have to say the two best things! The first being the adrenalin rush I get when the curtain opens on opening night. The second is being involved with such a great group of cast and crew but mainly the friends that I have made in all of them!

What other interests do you have outside of Gang Show: Outside of Gang Show I enjoy dancing. I have been teaching for 8 years and I am lucky enough to still find the time to teach alongside my time at Gang Show, Explorers and my full time job!

If Gang Show had an unlimited budget what would you do: If GS had an unlimited budget, I would like BGS to be the first Gang Show to do a world tour. I think we could show the audience around the world that we are not just Cubs, Scouts, Guides and Leaders but talented performers!

What's your most embarrassing moment on and off stage: Embarrassing moment…. A hard one again! I'd say falling over during my tap solo in 1998, not the fact that I fell but the fact I showed the entire audience my knickers, (thankfully I had my GS knickers on!). No doubt a new embarrassing moment will be created during this show though
